Boot Scootin’, Truck Drivin’ COWBOYS!

From way back in the Friday night vault, this is me and my best friend from high school and college at the Rodeo of the Ozarks ~ 1992. We actually spent that entire summer travelling to a different rodeo every weekend, including events in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Texas. Hopefully, the photo is small enough that you cannot see the bangs. Back then, I lived by the philosophy, the higher the hair, the closer to God. Just for the record, if memory serves me, we didn’t meet any cowboys at this rodeo either…only Lezil the Clown…but it sure was fun!

Isn’t Wanted and the Boho Chic line wonderful for rodeo pictures, farm pictures, state fair pictures and landscapes. Of course, the Wild West Alphabet is a treasure. I had lots of fun using the alphabet to make table placecards, pages and monogrammed goodies that I’ll show you in the coming weeks.

The top of this page looks kind of bare, but there is plenty of paper piercing work that doesn’t show to well in the photos. I have used the Outlaw paper, but embellished it with my own stamping, especially on the left hand side where I added running horses and the Really Rust colored circle images. It comes together with some stamped  accents from the Stamp of Authenticity set.

Thanks for looking!  Ah, summer Friday nights….. ok….back to reality! Happy Friday!
