Jami Swaps Rock!
September 9th, 2007
Jami Swaps ROCK! She runs a tight ship on time frame, top quality goes without saying, and I love it when my return envie shows up in the mail box. This was a 4.25″ square pocket card that I made after seeing a sample on Michelle Wooderson’s blog. (She ROCKS, too!) The inside is a pocket, file folder of sorts. Seems like I am always sharing recipes with people, and figured this was a good way to do that.
I figured with Apple Cider paper, my Aunt Betty’s Apple Dumpling Cobbler would be fun to share. I typed it up in Word, printed it on cardstock and made it into an insert.
-

-

-
Ink: Really Rust, Chocolate Chip
-

Here’s the recipe for anyone wanting to try it. Yummy!
Apple Dumpling Cobbler
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and quartered
1 cup orange juice
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation
Unroll crescent rolls, and separate. Wrap each apple quarter with crescent roll dough, and place in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bring orange juice, 2/3 cup sugar, and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Pour over apple dumplings. Stir together 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over dumplings.
Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Yield: 8 servings
Thanks for looking! I have another swap card to load tomorrow!
