WSC 19 - Brrrr, baby!

I didn’t think I would get to play Beate’s Sketch Challenge today…so much to do. But, when Wes woke me up getting ready to go hunting at 4:45 A.M., I decided to I could try a quick card.
I love this image of the toddler on the sled from Smart Works. So vintage looking. Wonderful paired with the Retro Daisy D Winter Fun collection. I stamped the image in Palette Umber Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored. To give it a linen look that complimented the designer paper, I overstamped the watercolored image with the Linen Background and Tim Holtz Linen distressing ink.

Lori, this is just delightful! I love that vintage sledder image and you have paired it PERFECTLY with that beautiful chipboad tag accent . . . I love this!

Oh, Lori! Just gushy over here.. . This reminds me of all the Christmas stuff Mike’s grandma puts out up in Michigan. Happy sigh! (The multicolored brads works SO WELL here. I never would have thought of doing that! LOL!)
