Wreath on the Door

We were surprised to find a beautiful evergreen wreath at our door late last week, a gift from our good friends, Matt & Tracy. They are so thoughtful, and I love that we are neighbors. Though the origins of who first used evergreens, wreaths and holly as Christmas decorations are disputed, the burst of color does remind us to be hopeful of spring and of vibrant living even in the dark of winter. I hope there is a burst of color and a hope of vibrant living in your life this Christmas.

How nice of Matt & Tracy and your duplication on a card is brilliant, Lori! Love the wood panels you drew in and the cardinal, sentiment and stitched ribbon are perfect!

How nice to come home and find a lovely wreath! I too was blessed with one left for me by UPS! My dearest friend of over 40 years sent it to me! Smells fantastic in the house! Love your wreath on the cool door card! Merry Christmas! Deb
