Velvet Elvis - Love Me Tender

This one had been on my mind since I first learned of the Elvis agreement…how pop culture was the Velvet Elvis? Honestly, here in the midwest you could probably find one new, on the shelf at any large truck stop. This is Elvis Profile.
Elvis is stamped in VersaMark and covered with black flock. Since these Velvet Elvis paintings are probably hung in places like your Aunt Sue’s upstairs attic bedroom, I thought that Pretty Pattern in a light, antiqued China Blue Distress ink would be appropriate for the backdrop. It’s accented with some images from the Rummage Bin line at CHF and some May Arts Ribbon. The sentiment, Love Me Tender.

This one may be my favorite yet! it’s running close with the Amazing Grace Elvis. You have to have a Velvet Elvis - it’s against the law NOT to!!
