Challenge Chicks 02 - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
April 7th, 2008

The CHF Challenge this week is to use Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads on your card or paper crafting project. I chose to create my background by laying color from my Distress Ink Pads directly onto a craft mat, spritzing with water and then dabbing the cardstock into the color. Here I have used Shabby Shutters and Broken China. I used Cryogen White cardstock, and the trick is to not over saturate the cardstock and to dry with a heat tool in between swipes. When you are satisfied with the color, you can over stamp with your focal image and sponge the edges.

You can see many more samples be visiting the CHF Design Team. The girls participating this week are: Julia Stainton, Lisa Silver, Kim Hughes, Dawn Lusk, Kristine Reynolds, Sherrie Siemens, Alli Miles, Julie Campbell, Lisa Strahl , Lesley Langdon and Val Stangle. ~ Enjoy! Tomorrow is the 8th and time for Divine Design. See you then ~
