It’s been a rough couple of days around here. My computer crashed on Monday in the middle of finalizing my taxes…I’m on a loaner that will just up and re-boot at anytime (like when you just about to hit PUBLISH on a new blog post). I’m still trying to get my blog lined out after an upgrade last week. I have no fewer than 12 loads of laundry waiting. And, I’m cooking dinner tonight for 145 people…But, hey! I woke up this morning with Fresh Wind and a Word delivered straight to me via my friend Julie Campbell. And I thought, the taxes got done, the sun is shining and I stamped last night. It’s all good! I always seem to get the push I need, when I need it. So, I’m grateful today for Julie’s encouragement to re-focus: Whatever!

Oh by the way - dinner is roasted pork loin, corn casserole, green beans with bacon, vegetable tray with the real buttermilk ranch dressing, roll and Oreo dessert. See you at 5:30 ![]()

I will fit in nicely with 144 OTHERS! OOOh, what is your recipe for green beens with bacon? Sounds delicious!

My kids want to know if you can feed six more. I am not sure how far away you are from Saint Joseph but my DD would love to visit. Love your blog even though I am a stalker. You are truly an amazing woman. Tonya

Lori, hey girl! You’re tempting me to buy some non-SU stamps and I’m not sure I should be doing that!! I really think I need to look at those Rummage Bin ones and I already have that Mellow paper, and I NEED that backgrounder. Harumph! Grin! Glad you were able to have a good attitude about all the stressful stuff! And thanks for sharing that - AND thanks for sharing your faith. You’re an inspiration and great witness for our Lord!!

I wish I would have been there on Wednesday instead of hanging out in my bathroom with my porcelain friend. Ah, but YOU are Wonder Woman in my opinion. I wish I had half of your energy most days! You inspire me, friend!

Beautiful card! And I agree with you, it’s funny how sometimes we are down and all of a sudden comes a little wind for our sail in an unexpected way!
