Autumn Moon Tin

I pulled the plug on card number 2 from this morning, so I thought I’d share this tin that I altered this summer. My girlfriend, Debbie, brought me the old tin that originally held Equal sugar packets and said, ‘do something with this! I can’t throw it away!’

I thought it would be the perfect little tin to stick a gift inside. I’m always needing a gift of some kind, aren’t you? It’s about 8″ tall and 7″ square on the base. I gave it a few good coats of spray paint and allowed to dry, then I applied some swirly rub ons. Mr. Owl is colored with Copic Markers. The accent around the top was scalloped using my Stampin’ Up! corner rounder with the guard removed (this lets you scallop in straight lines) and some May Arts ribbon and a Fancy Pants tin.

My dear husband and the oldest DD are going out to ‘work the dog’ tomorrow – this means they launch dummies for Walker to retrieve in the water, ride around on the four wheeler, all the time wearing camo, looking for deer tracks, eating beef jerky and having a grand ole time. Miss Priss and I will be home, cleaning the craft room. It’s really my desire to have it to a point that I can show you where I stamp. LOL! I think the concept would work well for many folks short on space – too bad I’ve been too embarrassed to photograph the danger zone the entire time I’ve been blogging! Wish me luck!

Have a great weekend! See you Monday!
