WSC58 & World Card Making Day

It’s FRIDAY! Time for Beate’s Sketch!

My littlest punkin got off to a rough start this year at school, and by week three I was wondering if we would have to sell her to the gypsies. A lot of talkin’ and prayin’ and hopin’ and cryin’, and she seems to have finally settled into the routine of things. I’m sending this card to the teacher today to thank her for her patience and communication with us.  I love Kim Hughes fun style, and her Making the Grade set is perfect for all sorts of school situations.

You can see what other sketch-spiration came about from Beate, Cambria, Charmaine, Jenn, Mary Jo (who got down and dirty this week! ;)) and Sharon by clicking each of their names. Me? I’ve got big plans this today: I’m getting new tires for my truck. Not exactly the kind of rubbah I like to pay for…maybe the postman will be sweet this afternoon and leave me some new Kim Hughes. You’ll know tomorrow if he does!

Hey – I have a card featured on the World Card Making Day website, and Paper Crafts Magazine has graciously sent me some blog candy to give away to celebrate World Card Making Day the first weekend in October! I’ll try to think of something fun and post the link and details later this afternoon.  Stay tuned!
