May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. Romans 15:13 (Amplified)

Editted to add: I was in such a hurry to get out the door this morning, I neglected to point you in the direction of more Divine Design inspiration and information. You may read about the origins of Divine Design here. You can see other samples from lovely ladies by visiting Angel, Jami, Taylor and Nancy. These ladies bless me so much, I’m sorry I didn’t point you in their direction this morning.

My best girlfriends and I love to talk about ‘what we love about the apostle Paul’. He’s just so cut to the chase, get it out there, unafraid of radical thinking and unashamed of following Jesus. I want to be like Paul when I grow up.

Divine Design this month, for me, is sharing hope with a friend, straight from the ‘cut to the chase’ letter from Paul. I love the Amplied version of this verse, that you may receive joy and peace in believing through the experience of your faith by the power of the Holy Spirit.  If today finds you questioning _______________, may you stand strong in the experience of your faith and receive power from the Holy Spirit. He, and He alone, can refill your joy and peace. I’ll be sharing this card and prayers with a friend who is working through a different kind of normal right now. She has an amazing faith, so I don’t even question whether or not God will restore her with joy and peace. I don’t think she questions it, either but we all need a reminder every now and again.

Do you need to remind someone today?

Thanks for the inspiration to reach out to another Lori! I never cease to be amazed at how easily doing that can get pushed t o the back burner. IN so doing - we allow God’s Grace to do exactly what this verse says! I hope to have my Oct. BVC08 by Monday. will post a link here and on SCS when I get it finished.

    Love & friendship, Juli
