It was so much fun to spend the weekend with my friends, Sharon Harnist and Marianne Walker, right here in my hometown of Kansas City. It was like having a private color coach right at my disposal for 3 days. How lucky am I?
Here’s a quick card that I put together this morning. I came home with plenty of adorable Lockhart images to color in the next few weeks. This Pumpkins in Wheelbarrow was colored with a range of Y and YR colors and then accented with a clear Spica glitter pen. The sentiment is from All Things Fall (CHF). Both of these stamps are available from Ellen Hutson, LLC.
This is the 3 of us after virtually no sleep, lots of coloring and a ton of laughs. Special thanks to my sweet husband who let me get away for a few days despite the fact that it’s ‘bow season’ ~ and I’m not talking ribbon. 🙂 See you tomorrow!
- Stamps: Pumpkins in Wheelbarrow (Lockhart) & All Things Fall (CHF)
- Cardstock: Neenah White, Sunflowers Medium & Dark (Prism)
- Ink: Black Adirondack (Ranger)
- Accs: Strano Ribbon, Magic Mesh, Spica glitter pen (Copic) and Copic Marker
Its gorgeous. Great coloring.
what’s up with the green pumpkin? Was the farmer color blind? that pumpkin obviously needed more time on the vine. Can you make green pumpkin pie from green pumpkins? it was fun, and yes, I found MY B34, at home with all MY other markers. cheers!
What gorgeous coloring! Beautiful card.
Holy cocnsie data batman. Lol!
Superior thinking demonstrated above. Thanks!
This introduces a pleasingly rational point of view.
It’s great to find someone so on the ball

Fabulous card. Love the variety of pumpkins including the green one–we see lots of those. Great colouring Lori!
Love those colorful pumpkins, girl! That sentiment is perfect and so is that yummy ribbon and trim!
Love the pumpkin card. I am crazy about pumpkins. I WISH SO MUCH that I could color like you! I have a handful of copics, but I think you need the artistic gene to do well with them and I was lucky to get a smidgen of the creative gene!
And you look fabulous! I sure miss you!
How fun! wish I could have been there. Awesome harvest card too Lori!
Cute card, Lori! And how fun to get together and color! 🙂

i love your idea of a “quick” card. that would take me a good couple of hours to make! 🙂
just wanted to say hey!
Your card is so gorgeous – I love the image and the way you’ve added the gems to the cetrne of the flowers. Love the sentiment stamp too – might just have to go look for one of those but can’t remember where I’ve seen them (typical LOL!)Love, Andrea xx
There’s a terrific amount of knowledge in this article!
You’ve got to be kidding me-it’s so transparently clear now!
The purchases I make are entirely based on these articles.

That’s really thinking of the highest order
Super excited to see more of this kind of stuff online.
Thank God! Someone with brains speaks!
My hat is off to your astute command over this topic-bravo!
You Sir/Madam are the enemy of confusion everywhere!
