Prayers & Chocolate

Prayers and chocolate sometimes go hand in hand, don’t they? Here’s a Whiff of Joy image (Willow with Chocolate) that I worked on when I was having Marianne help me achieve the ‘blue jeans’ look. After coloring her jeans, I simply dabbled the colorless blender over the denim to give it a faded, washed look. Next, I cut the image with my Curved Rectangle Nestabilities, added bling to her slippers and some buttons. The sentiment is from SmartWorks. When it was all said and done, I used a clear gel pen from Sukura to cover the cookies. It gives them a glossy dimensional look.
Speaking of Whiff of Joy, when I went to grab the link, I noticed that Katharina has some new items in the store…be still my heart…SNOWPEOPLE! So darling! Need to grab me some of those. 
In case you are wondering, these do ship from Sweden. I think my initial order arrived in 5 or 6 days. Speedy quick!

Sweet card, Lori. Who couldn’t use a few prayers and cookies, especially chocolate chip ones, from a friend? This company has adorable images and really cute snowpeople. The shipping seems to be super fast also. I might just have to order a little gift for myself. {I’ve been trying soo hard to be good and get the holiday shopping done first, but it’s soo hard!}

what a precious card! that image is wonderful! and I’m drooling over your buttons, almost as much as I’m drooling thinking of chocolate chip cookies to go with my morning coffee!!!
