It’s time for a little challenge with my JiFFY Friends. Just For Fun, once a month we all create a card with the same stamped image and patterned paper. This month, JiFFY Julie picked this adorable image from Sugar Nellie: Day Dreamer. Sweet Alli, themilesmum picked the paper: Sliced Leek from the Minestrone Collection at Jillabean Soup. This paper had 2 very different sides I chose the stripes, and I’m anxious to see what the other girls did with the flip side. 🙂
I colored all of my images with Copic Markers (see colors below) and then trimmed them all out and popped them all up. I loved recreating this window scene. I used my scalloped punch from Stampin’ Up to create the window awning. Since I cut all of the birds out, I was able to rearrange them a little bit on the final card. I drew the new strings in with a Copic MultiLiner. The little flower rhinestone in her hair is from Taylored Expressions. It sure has a lot of twinkle for something so tiny. 😉 The wooden flower die cut is from KaiserCraft.
Here are the Copics that I used to match up with the patterned paper. Even though I didn’t use the butterfly print, it was easy to use those colors as inspiration for my card.
I’m going to check out of my JiFFy Friends: Alli Miles, Carole Burrage, Julie Campbell and Michele Boyer. They are always so inspiring.
Thanks for stopping by!
