Just a quick and easy card with a reminder y’all to check out the Weekend Sketch Challenge today. Mary Jo has put up an awesome sketch. I’ll be playing tonight when I return from a little trip with my girls. You can see gorgeous samples if you’ll stop by and visit Beate, Cambria, Charmaine, Jenn and Sharon. I usually drool. 
I’m having lunch today with my very oldest friend. I can remember the first time I met her - we had just moved into a new home in Stewartville, MN. It was spring of my first grade year. She was pulling her little brother up the street in a wagon, and we started talking. I remember my mom having some of those homemade Kool-aid popsicles (you know the ones made in the Tupperware mold?) to pass out. My girlfriend still lives in the same small town, but I haven’t been back there in 21 years. I’m really looking forward to the visit and to seeing the little town where I grew up.

Hey, I’m the old friend and it was wonderful to see you again! Life was so simple and worry free back in those popsicle and Little House books and TV show days
