This is the card that has been all around America this summer. I made this card the morning before I left for CHA, thinking I would post while I was gone. (Hmm, there is never enough time for sleep on those trips, so why I thought I would blog all week was beyond me.) I did, however, get Beate to take a picture of it for me off the balcony of our condo, then I politely packed it back up and brought it home. Last weekend, I carried it on a mini-vacation to Branson thinking again that I would post while I was gone. With computer woes and roller coasters abound…I still didn’t post. Finally, I’ve unpacked all my summer bags (mostly) and caught up on my long ole to-do list and here is my card for Taylor’s Sketch 76.

I used the anniversary Scripture Collection from Our Daily Bread Designs to make quick work of this card. I needed a sympathy card, and that set is perfect for those.  Kelley Holland, the Our Daily Bread Designs owner was the first person I saw at CHA - walking down the corridor. We hugged quickly, said hey! and didn’t take a picture because we agreed our paths would cross again that week. Sadly, it didn’t happen. I appreciate Kelley for the effort and energy that she puts into beautiful Scripture sentiment stamps every single month. She fills a definitely needed niche in the stamp world! Thank you, Kelley!

We’re off to a swim team fundraiser this morning. Should be a good time, and hopefully, profitable. :) Enjoy your Saturday!

I have to say that after you told me about covering your ripening cherry trees I panicked! We were on vacation when I read that and I thought, “oh no! I’m going to come home to all my cherries gone!” But…whew! still here! I’ll be picking them tomorrow :)
