Enjoy the Ride

I was talking to sweet Alli Miles (i love this girl!) the other day, and the subject of masculine cards came up. We decided to give that an impromptu whirl, and this is what I came up with.  It ended up being perfect to work around the masculine thing with the June release Key Ingredient kit from Taylor. (Sadly, I went to get the link, and it looks like this particular kit is out of stock.) But, I love having the papers, ribbons and embellishments from these kits all together. It’s too easy.

At CHA, our Splitcoast booth was really close to the Papertrey Ink booth. In fact, I think there were lots of people who spent all their time at the show going back and forth between the two because they were hosting fabulous make & takes in the Papertrey space, as well. I didn’t get a chance to do a make & take, but I did pick up a few things in the booth, including the popular Everyday Button Bits. I thought this would be a sweet card for your favorite guy going off to college, or maybe someone you care for starting a new job.

I’m going to check out Alli‘s card. I’m sure it’s fabulous. And, then I’ve got lots of work to do today. I’ll see you tomorrow!

Chop! Chop!

  1. Love it, Lori — great layout, colors, buttons — all wonderful combined with the red and kraft! The little hot air balloon is a great touch! P.S. Are you going to have the painter leave that post with its peeling paint? I love it!

  2. uh…you are so smartie-pants, my friend! I kept thinking of the bike with that sentiment…duh, didn’t think to use the hot air balloon, and you’re so clever and creative sliding it off to the side…lil’ stinker, you!
