Perfect Packaging…
November 27th, 2009
It’s my pleasure today to participate in the Taylored Expressions Black Friday Blog Hop. Some of your favorite stampers will be showcasing the Perfect Package. These one piece box/lid packages make quick work of wrapping your special treats and card sets in style for attractive gift giving.
To begin, I covered my box with Good Tidings paper from KI. The patterns are Ornaments & Garland. I use Zip Dry Beacon Adhesive to attach my paper, and it works beautifully. It flows on easy from the tip applicator and has just enough give to allow you to move your paper around and into the perfect spot. It dries super quick, and if any seeps out of the edges, you just rub it off with your fingertip. It leaves no residue on your project.
To decorate the front of my box, I created a frame and back drop with my Nestabilities Labels 9, and then created my birdie with the Nested Bird dies. The smaller bird turned up on it’s side makes darling wings. Bird is decorated with snowflake images from Wings of Joy. To finish off the front, I accented the snowflakes with Taylor’s Tiny Twinkles and a big ole bow.
Inside, I’ve covered the front door flap with more Good Tidings paper and then filled my box with Christmas cookie goodies.
I had a ton of fun putting together my cookie gift set. I can’t wait to see what the other girls have put together. Check them out:
