God’s LOVE is in the sway of the trees, songs of the breeze and the flutter of our HEARTS.
It’s sketch Friday at Taylored Expressions (and a sweet release Friday to boot!), and I love the sketch we had to work with. I used What Matters Most from Ippity to stamp my tree, sentiment and butterflies.
Fun, fun stuff going on at Taylor’s today. The March release…which I happen to know is going to be super cute and totally different from anything Taylor has ever done. 🙂 Today is the one-year anniversary of her Whimsical Wishes line, and she’s releasing a special set with proceeds for a favorite charity.
I had started with my main image on white cardstock and colored with Copics. Then, I realized that I wanted to pair it up with new October Afternoon, Thrift Shop papers that had a cream undertone to them. So, I airbrushed some sky with Copic BG000 and then some warm edges with E31. Voila! White cardstock issue solved. I also airbrushed my white and red striped ribbon at the bottom.
You can see other sketch-spiration by checking out these chicks:
I’m off to Des Moines to meet up with Miss Taylor & Jami and a friend from grade school, and then tonight, I’m picking up Sharon at the airport. We’re looking forward to our Copic Certification class tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by!
