A hard refresh (COMMAND-R for Mac lovers or CTRL-F5 on PC) will ensure you are seeing the latest post on this blog.

You are going to have to contain your excitement. I do realize it’s been *ahem* years since I’ve posted to this blog twice in one day, but Beate issued another challenge to Jenn and I last night. She was checking out for the night, but wanted us to do a little digital stamping. So, Jenn and I (never wanting to disappoint the Beate) chatted and digi-stamped until the wee hours. It was fun then, not so much at 6:15 am when the alarm went off. You can see Jenn’s darling piece of work here.

I don’t have many digital stamp images in my collection for two reasons. One, I’m a traditionalist. Two, I’ve had a terrible time with printers the last few years. (Printer issue addressed below.) So, I headed to Bugaboo Stamps because about every week or so, Jeanie Witmer has me giggling out loud with some cute thing she’s whipped up from their images. Cute, cute images and some funny sentiments. I loved this little bunny series, and settled on FunnyBunny Egg Shower. I colored FunnyBunny with Copics and grounded him with a little bit of colored pencil grass.

As soon as I saw that umbrella, I thought about Brighton jewelery and their beautiful ‘free’ umbrellas that are a gift with purchase. I know Jenn at least one of my friends knows exactly what I’m talking about. This sentiment came to mind. I typed it up using a Kim Hughes font from scrapNfonts, Goody Goody, and printed it out…easy~peasy.

A little note about printers and digital stamping. Copic compatibility, surprisingly hasn’t been an issue with any of the 4 ink jet printers I’ve purchased in the last few years, the problem was finding a printer that would feed card stock fairly well and handle the copies/scans that I need to make from my home office for work. I ended up with this HP based on the reviews, compatibility with Mac, print from iPhone feature and the fact, that my very first HP LaserJet purchased in 1992 still works like a charm (if only I could connect it to a 21st century computer). I’m a happy girl.

I’ll be back tomorrow. Stay warm!
