I enjoy participating in many hops and challenges in our papercrafting community. It’s because stamping makes me happy. Today, however, I’m not happy, but humbled to be participating with over 125 designers as we band together to support one of our own…one of our fellow stampers who could be any one of us…A vivacious, funny, caring and crafty mother of 3 was dealt a crippling diagnosis of inoperable gastric cancer. Today, I’m swimming for Katie Renz!
If you are not familiar with Katie’s story, it began just before Christmas last year. She was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer after a few tummy aches. Stage 4 gastric cancer. Her first post about the cancer is here. The idea of ‘Swimming for Katie” came from her recent post here, just 3 weeks ago.
This is my card created with the exclusive stamp designed by Becky Oehlers. It’s available as a clear stamp, digi and even SVG cut file. 100% of the profits from the sale of these items got to Katie’s fund to help her and her young family.
