I knew I’d be crafting this morning before I attempted any thing else for the day… I’ve been going 20 different directions with fabulous Hope You Can Cling To sponsorship and administrative tasks. My attention span this week has been so short, bouncing from thing-to-thing, and as soon as I’d get really into a project, someone#1 or someone#2 would yell “SQUIRREL!” over the inter-office intercom, and we’d be off to the races once again. It’s all good, but seriously. I was ready for Saturday.
This card is for Tenia’s fabulous Hope You Can Cling To challenge: Music Soothes the Soul. I wanted to use a new Taylored Expressions set, Falling for You and the coordinating die (set was a special for Key Ingredient Kit Club members this month), and paired it with an oldie-but-goodie sketch from the Splitcoast Treasure Chest: Sketch #20 which originally debuted on May 10, 2005! For the music portion of the challenge, I loved this little piece of sheet music (October Afternoon) because of the bottom line: “When I came near it, away flew the bird.” I immediately thought of the squirrels outside my kitchen window.
Again with someone#1 and someone#2.
And just because I angled up… It’s amazing that I get anything done besides sipping coffee and gazing out my kitchen window these days. Squirrel!
Have a wonderful weekend!
