MFT October Previews – Day 1… yes, I said Previews!

So usually about this time, I’m hanging out and waiting for **my** My Favorite Things girlfriends to start posting previews for the upcoming MFT release. This month, I’ve got butterflies galore because, you read that correctly… I am here as a guest designer, sharing previews.  Can you believe that?

I’ve worked with the MFT team on many projects through the years at Splitcoast, I enjoy getting together with them at trade shows, catching up when time allows, and I am a huge fan of the brand. I’m so excited to be working with them this month! Thank you to Kim and her team for the warm, warm invitation. And, let me just throw it out here right now, I hit the stampy goodness jackpot! Everything you are going to see over the next week from the October release is beautiful!

I am sharing a card that was made with Lisa Johnson Designs Snowflake Splendor, coordinating Die-namics and new Die-namics – Blueprints 8.

I’ve mentioned before that I love using the Blueprint Die-namics. They are sets of dies that include a large layering piece, stamp panels and multiple embellishment dies. MFT offers several suggested layouts with each one or you, of course, can use your own. They really do allow for very fast card making!

My Snowflake Splendor flakes were stamped with MFT Blu Raspberry, MFT Grape Jelly, MFT RazzleBerry and MFT Sno Cone inks on Smooth White cardstock for a one-sheet wonder affect, and then I cut my panels with Blueprints 8.

This past weekend, I was in Houston for a trade show with Copic Marker, and I met the sweetest lady selling glitter in the booth next to ours. I brought two tubs of her Silk Micro Fine Glitter home, and this afternoon I used my Snowflake Splendor Die-namics to cut snowflakes from Xpress It Adhesive Sheets (peel one layer of backing paper from the die cut shape, adhere to project and peel second backing paper to reveal a sticky die cut shape on your project) and sprinkled with glitter. Oh. Shiny.

The little flags in the corner and the scalloped Blu Raspberry layer were also cut with Blueprints 8 and stamped with Washi Patterns. I love those little flags!

So, now you know my secret. Please be sure to head over to the MFT blog for direct links to each of the fantabulous designers, more samples, details regarding the October 8th  release and information on teaser PRIZES!

I’ll be back several more days in the next week with more MFT goodness. I hope you love the images and dies as much as I do.

Don’t forget that Hope You Can Cling To started yesterday at Splitcoaststampers. Thirty one days of challenges for cancer awareness.  My Favorite Things is the Pink Sponsor, so you could win one of five $100 gift vouchers from MFT for playing along there – or one of dozens of other prizes.

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
