MFT October Previews, Day 3: Christmas Doodles

I’m back with another day of previews for the MFT release that is coming up this Tuesday night! Thank you so much for your kind comments and notes after Wednesday’s post. It really warmed my heart!

My first card today features an image from the newest stamp line at MFT, Sunny Day Doodles Sweet Christmas. Love this whimsy style and the sentiments that come with it! I stamped my gingerbread house on kraft cardstock and embossed with vanilla embossing powder and then cut it out.

I wanted to show you a close up of this beautiful new tag die – Pierced Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. It pairs perfectly with the Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics that you see matted behind my pierced layer, both in Blu Raspberry Card Stock. Love the pierced Die-namics sets. Just an instant WOW! when you use them.

I added some twine, button and sequins to my tag and then created the main layout of the card with Blueprints 4 Die-namics!

My second card today uses a beautiful new die set, Tree Lines Die-namics. It’s open at the bottom so that you can go across your card at any height, and they are wide enough to cover 4.25 and 5.5 card widths. My sentiment is from a set that we’ll be showcasing a little later during preview week, Lisa Johnson Designs Grand Holiday Greetings and stamped in MFT Hot Fudge on Kraft Card Stock, again tied with twine and a button.

Here you can see both layers of trees cut and adhered to my card front. Super easy way to class up the Christmas card efforts. Love that.

I’ll be back tomorrow with more MFT goodness and a Hope You Can Cling To card! In the meanwhile, take a peek at the other MFT team projects. They will WOW you, for sure!

Don’t you love it when “busy” means paper crafting your heart out!?
