Copic Planning and New Classes!

Copic Team Meeting 2014002

At the end of October, the Copic teaching team had our annual meeting where we finalized the 2015 class location schedule and calendar. It’s been a whirlwind of family activity since I returned from that trip, but I wanted to share a few photos with you.

This is our team before dinner one night at a Willamette Valley winery near Eugene, Oregon. Beautiful scenery.

Left to right: Debbie Olson, Nancy Zenke, Michele Houghton, Cindy Lawrence, Colleen Schaan, Sherrie Siemens and Me. It’s a real blessing to work with such neat, talented women over such a long period of time.

Here’s a shot from that same winery.

Though we enjoy each other’s company and do have some fun while we are together, it’s a lot of work, too. This was a snippet from outside our office … the Copic Sanctuary. Who spies R29?

One afternoon, we were very fortunate to spend some time with retired University of Oregon art professor, Ken O’Connell. Ken is the founder to Imagination International, the North American distributor for Copic Marker. We always enjoy visiting with Ken, and we even talked him into a short sketching lesson. Here he’s showing us a sketch that he completed on his most recent trip to Italy. Ken travel sketch journals are ah-mazing!

We did manage to get a lot of work completed during that meeting, and our first classes of the year are open for registration. This includes Southern California classes during CHA (which are open to ANYONE..not just CHA attendees), Miami and Phoenix.

You can find all of the information for our certification classes and our brand new coloring workshops HERE.

We are especially excited about the new workshops, as they are a combination of many, many requests we’ve received over the last two years. I think you’ll LOVE the total hands-on format full of tips, tricks and complete instruction. Hope we have the opportunity to see you soon!
