About my cards… I mentioned earlier in the week how much I love that most of Verve’s sentiments can stand alone as a focal point? Here I’ve paired this sentiment from the set Good Work with a few simple embellishments. The feathers were cut from the packing tissue paper that always comes wrapped around a Verve order. It’s such a pretty Tiffany Blue with silver sparkles right in the paper. {love} The sequins around my oval sentiment panel are from a new little Verve sequin mix called Frosted Snowfall. Seriously cute with the little shiny snowflakes!
My second card to share with you today features adorable flowers from the Good Work set. I’ve stamped them with my MISTI using grape, Marina Mist, Pool Party and Lost Lagoon ink on a panel cut with a retired Verve die, Notebook Paper.
The flowers stamp so pretty! I love the detail work to them that looks beautiful stamped and colored or, as I’ve done here, simply stamped in a variety of different colors of ink. I used the Frosted Snowfall sequins again. So sparkly… I tried to get up close and personal so you could see the shimmer.
