Joy and Cheer

Still working on Christmas cards for this year. Determined to get them out *early*… define early? I made several of this theme from a cute snowman from Our Craft Lounge (remember their cute stamps?). There were colored with Copic and were quick work with patterned paper from Simple Stories.

Warmest-Wishes I paired a few designs with a Lisa Johnson’s Designs set, Snowflake Splendor. Beautiful, easy-to-use snowflakes and coordinating dies.

I have several friends with December birthdays, so I loved this sentiment. This card is actually for my brother who turns a significant milestone in a few days. 🙂

Coloring white is something we tackle in several different Copic classes, especially our Standard Certification. Of course it’s discussed and demo’d with Copic, but like most of the principles in our Copic classes, they are certainly applicable to any color medium of choice. I’m actually teaching several sets of certification classes next year, they are still our most requested classes. The trick with coloring white is to focus on subtle shading and not to over do it! Love this die from Scor-Pal – it’s a great little framing die with the dotted pointy top!

How cute is this Sweater Weather cutting plate from Taylored Expressions? So sweet and easy!

Wrapping up the holiday to-do list today… Deciding who has been naughty enough that I can cross some items off of my ‘to-shop-for” list… totally kidding! It has been a year of special time together and blessing, so truly are focusing more on that as a family this year…

One more day of cards to show tomorrow – dare I say, I saved the best for last of this series… Have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!
