Pinkfresh Studio September Release

I’m excited to be guest designing for Pinkfresh Studio today and sharing new product projects. You are in for a treat as this release features an innovative new item foiling fanatics will LOVE!

Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog Hop! We are so excited about this release, and I was honored to create projects to share with you! If you are following the blog hop order, you have arrived from the blog of the fabulous Lea Lawson. The full blog hop list can be found HERE.
Before I tell you about my cards, I have two fun things to share that are special:
  • First, Pinkfresh Studio is offering free US shipping on all orders $75+ from September 27th to October 3rd.
  • Second, Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away a total of TEN $25  gift cards along the hop. More details below!

How would you like to see my projects? The Blooming Branch collection is a beauty. I went with a late-fall vibe in blues and browns. The first step was to stamp and emboss the image from Blooming Branch Stamp Set in gold and then fill in color with the coordinating Blooming Branch Layering Stencils. Love the depth of the images with the layered stencils – so easy to line up!

Finally, I die-cut the Blooming Branch image with the Blooming Branch Die, and then I pulled the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame die and sentiments from the Dahlia Bunch stamp set to finish off my card.

Up next, I paired the Dahlia Bunch stamp and stencils with the fabulous new Solid Hot Foil Plate. This foil plate innovation is a game changer that allows you to use the remnant from your heat foil plates for a negative foiled image, eliminating waste and doubling your foil fun.

The new Solid Foil Plate allows you to quickly use the negative foil pieces left over from the first foil plate print, in this case, the Diagonal Stripe Cover Plate.

Not only does it mean no waste of the negative foil, it makes for quick and easy multiple cards. See the slight variation in the background foil design. Love it! Here, the Dahlia Bunch Layering Stencil and Dahlia Bunch Die is paired with the Pinkfresh Studio Fancy Oval Die on top of the foiled backgrounds. I added sentiments from the beautiful set, Perfect Sentiments.

Finally, I love the gorgeous new Inna Alphabet Die and Inna Alphabet Foil combination. The alphabet has gorgeous detailed stencils, but here, I’ve used the Solid Hot Foil Plate to use the negative foil print of the alphabet.

I finished this card by adding JOY on top of the Leafy Circle Die, a label from Fancy Label Frames, and a base layer created with the Diagonal Stripe Hot Foil Plate.

PRIZES! Pinkfresh Studio has generous prizes up for grabs to blog hop visitors! Up for grabs are TEN $25 gift certificates chosen from visitors who comment on blog hop participant blogs. Winners will be announced on October 5th on THIS PAGE. It is the winner’s responsibility to claim his/her prize within 2 weeks. Good luck!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, and now, on with the blog hop fun! If you are following the hop in order, your next stop is the talented Maria Wills. You can find the full list on the Pinkfresh Stamps Blog. Enjoy!

Happy 10th Birthday to Taylored Expressions!

Can you even believe it?! Celebrating 10 CRAZY FUN BEAUTIFUL YEARS for Taylored Expressions today! Almost 40 designers celebrating today, and the fun starts HERE.

I am so honored to share with you today and say, ‘Happy 10th Birthday’ to my friends at Taylored Expressions!  10 amazing years of papercrafting with adorable, adorable stamps – back before we even had coordinating dies to match our stamps! Can you even believe that travesty? We use to fussy cut the layers!

I have been stamping with Taylored Expressions from the very first release, and last night I took a trip down memory lane – through 10 years of favorite projects. I remember seeing the very first stamp concepts while sharing dessert with Taylor at Summer CHA in Chicago – 2008.  The excitement over her opening her very own stamp company was so strong!

Between my top card and this one, I was able to get 10 candles from the adorable Make a Wish set on my card fronts in honor of this incredible milestone. For this card, I cut the candle dies from watercolor paper and applied watercolor. Fast and easy! On all three of my cards for today, I’ve also used Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 2. – it’s pretty much my favorite. Here I’ve paired it with Dotted Lattice embossing folder, and kraft cardstock.

I can’t imagine a birthday party without surprises, so take a minute to see the fun new stamps for the BIRTHDAY RELEASE!

Usually milestone parties call for slideshows of old pictures, so I’ve dug up a few! 😉

One more thing I wanted to mention, is the touching TE Mission to SHARE JOY with handcrafted cards. I hope you join in the celebration! Here’s a message from Taylor,

At the heart of Taylored Expressions is a mission to share joy through the gift of handmade cards. As part of their 10th birthday TE is continuing that mission with the launch of a special Share Joy campaign focused on providing birthday cards to those in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities across the U.S. To make as deep an impact as possible TE is inviting card makers everywhere to join the campaign. Will you join us? Find out how to participate by viewing their Share Joy page here: https://www.tayloredexpressions.com/share-joy-birthday-2018

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing the TE excitement with me! I hope you enjoy the party as much as I already have!

Happy Birthday, Taylored Expressions
