About 2 months ago, I ordered several new WhipperSnapperDesigns stamps through a small store in California with the understanding that I would pick them up in person on my trip to SoCal Stamp Mania! A few days later, Jenn, paper genius, says, ‘I just told them to give me one of every stamp you ordered.’ That’s pressure! Hope she likes them! But then, who wouldn’t, almost every design is an Anna-original.
So, Jenn and I thought we would see what we could do with “love birds”, an Anna Wight, paper genius, original. The only other stipulation was Cosmo Cricket – Dutch Girl paper. You can see Jenn’s incredible card here. Mine will make a fun, whimsy wedding card for friend’s of Wes and I.
My main image is stamped on Poison Ivy Shimmery Vanilla cardstock in Timber Brown StazOn. It is colored using the Gamsol Magic technique with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits. A little bit of Dazzling Diamonds, Real Red & Mellow Moss accents and Dutch Girl paper accent this side fold card. I love the frayed ribbon look with Anna’s bird stamps. Gives the illusion of feathers, in any color! The layout is one I will use again and again after I saw it here at the Stampin’ Kub.
