May the cross always be a sign of life and hope and a reminder of everlasting love.
We are quickly approaching the most special day of the year.
Yes, more than roses at Valentine’s, potato salad on the Fouth of July, carols on Christmas Eve…that’s how much I love Easter. It’s been a busy few months for my family, and I’ve missed being at home, at my church, several different weekends. I’ve missed my Sunday School class, my pastor…my church family. Things have begun to slow down for us, and I’m grateful that these last few weeks leading up to Easter, we’ll be home.
This is my submission for the Taylored Expressions sketch this week. I chose Discover Your Wings for a subtle floral image in the background. It’s stamped with Adirondack White Pigment ink on lilac cardstock. Then chose a sentiment from Easter Blessings. The new cross dies from Spellbinders were the perfect accent. Patterned paper across the bottom is Kioshi by Basic Grey.
If you are so inclined, check out other pretty samples by visiting Monika Davis • Lisa Hjulberg • Lynn Mercurio • Jami Sibley • Alice Wertz • Sherrie Siemens.
Wishing you a warm and wonderful weekend ~
Lori
