CPS sketch-a-versary!

I’m back! There is a big ole party going on at the CPS Sketch blog. It’s the 5th anniversary of that treasure trove of sketching fun, and the designers are busting it out for 15 days with fabulous sponsors, a re-visit to some of our favorites over the years and the opportunity to win awesome prizes!

For my favorite flash back, I paired Sketch 102 (that originally debuted in February, 2009) with some darling new stamps from The Cat’s Pajamas. The Heart Trio Dies from TCP were the perfect compliment to the sketch.

I loved the heart and the clean lines of this sketch! I hope you’ll find time to play along for GREAT PRIZES! You can find all of the details HERE.

CHA (The Craft Hobby Association trade show) was great! It always is a wonderful time to catch up with industry friends and customers. I get home and people ask what my favorite new products were…truth be told, I don’t actually do much window shopping, but I spied some super sweet new papers this time, some darling kraft journals that allow for a smaller scaled (8×10) Project Life and super cute new stamps. I’ll be ready for a few things to hit the stores!

I’ll be back on Friday with a sketch from Taylored Expressions. I’m trying my hand at some mixed media fun this week, too.  See you soon!

  • Stamps: Feelin’ Cupidy and Build-a-Bingo – The Cat’s Pajamas

  1. Hi Lori, Love this card, so cute. I look at the paper and images separately and think to myself how did she ever arrange all those things to go together perfectly. You are inspiring.
Glad you had a good time at CHA. I managed to get my hands on the new MME 6 X 6 pads today and can’t wait to use them.
DD’s surgery went well and we now have her here with us for the next 4-8 weeks. So glad it is over.
Hope your week is going well.

  2. Love this Lori… just adorable – especially the pink in the ears!

  3. Love this and you, SWEET Lori! Wish we could have caught up more at CHA, but maybe in St. Louis in March? I’ll be there for Debbie’s Intermediate Copic class. Getting in Fri. a.m. and leaving Saturday afternoon at 4:50 p.m. Let me know if our paths can cross!
