You Make a Difference – yes… YOU!

I’ve revisited the old “trading card” concept lately because I’ve been mailing a lot of packages, trades, supplies and family stuff. And, it seemed like I wasn’t even taking time to scribble a note on a piece of paper to stuff into the box. <sigh> If someone was really lucky, they’d get a “hi – I love ya!” on a recycled post-it note. <not kidding>

A quick note on the back of a cute trading card lets me brighten a day much better than a recycled post-it, don’t you think?!  I’ve loved having a stash and using these!

My flowers and leaf are from the beautiful Bloom and Grow set from Verve. They were stamped with the Clearsnap Petal Point Pigment pads from Sunset collection. Love how they coordinate. Super quick and easy.

If you are like me, you’ve stayed a way from pigments for a while because you were impatient for dry time or you didn’t want to emboss, but our Splitcoaststampers Product Focus review this week was a game changer. I loved the tips and tricks for working with them, because there really is nothing else like the rich, opaque look of a pretty pigment pad. Check it out HERE!

What are some papercrafting ideas you’ve recently re-visited and fallen in love with again? I’d love to know!

  1. Hi Lori, Very pretty cards. I remember a day when I had to have all of the Colorbox Petal Points. My favorite and only pigment inks now are Fresh Inks from Impress. I love their colors. I am working my way back to using the beautiful 6X6 pads of paper. I know everyone is making their own backgrounds now but I just adore beautiful papers and am giving myself permission to use them even though it isn’t popular right now. Have a great day.

  2. These are fabulous Lori! And I totally love this idea… I am also guilty of the recycled post it note. Maybe I’ll find a little time to make some ATC’s this weekend while the boys are watching NBA finals on the dvr. :)

  3. Congratulations, Lori. I had the pleasure of meeting you in Orlando for a Copic certification class. I still have a lot of the Colorbox pigment inks and I love them. I like my papers, too.
